Your shower always new!

"Clean the shower? Yes, then I'll do it."

This is the answer we give ourselves every day so that we don't have to do those boring and tiring tasks that we have to do every now and then, like cleaning the shower!
Just a few steps and you can finally say "I did it!"and make your shower look new again.

HOW TO CLEAN (THE WHOLE) SHOWER

Removing limescale and soap residues

Limescale is the number one enemy of everything to do with water, such as the shower.
There are a number of natural limescale removers that remove the calcium carbonate that forms on the walls and in the shower head. We suggest one that will make descaling quick and natural:
For the standard cleaning of the shower tray we recommend the following instead (no rinsing required so it's one less job to do!) and the which helps to remove the limescale halo that regularly forms on the glass walls of the shower cubicle, creating a film that makes it easier for water to run off and helps to delay the formation of limescale.

Rinse the walls and tray with water; a handheld shower head is perfect for this. Spray the product on all surfaces that need anti-limescale cleaning, leave it to work, rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Tip: Equip yourself with a squeegee! It will help you clean water spots on the walls more easily and make them shine.

Cleaning the shower head

Often, due to limescale build-up, the shower head has clogged holes and, inevitably, the water struggles to escape.
The home-made method in this case is functional and does not damage your shower head: soak it in hot water and vinegar for an hour then rinse thoroughly.
If any holes are still closed at the end of this operation, use a needle to open them.

Freeing the drain

How much material accumulates in the drain? A lot, but there is a solution for that too.
Open a metal coat hanger or use a thin, long object such as a crochet needle. Unscrew the drain plug or simply insert the tool into the drain grate, depending on the model of shower installed in your bathroom. Pull out the hair and debris clogging the drain and throw them away; continue in this way until the drain is perfect again.

Tip: carry out this work weekly to prevent the pipe from clogging

Pour a drain-cleaning product. You can either use a commercial solution or prepare a homemade one by diluting 60 ml of ammonia in one litre of boiling water (be careful! Ammonia is often corrosive, so we advise you to avoid it as much as possible. It is better to use special products).
Pour the liquid down the drain to loosen any remaining blockages.

Tip: Use the drain cleaner once a month to avoid serious blockages.

Rinse with very hot water. Turn on the tap and let the hot water run down the drain; if it flows back up, repeat the above steps to clear the clog.
