Thermometer
If it is damaged, it is unable to set the right temperature and can raise or lower the temperature incorrectly.
In the sauna and steam bath, having the right temperature is essential: too much heat can be harmful to the body.
Stove
If it does not heat up sufficiently, there are several reasons for this: damaged fuses, a damaged connection cable, a control unit that does not detect the right temperature or faulty resistors.
Resistors
The heating elements in electric stoves have the task of heating the surrounding stones that store and release heat into the sauna environment.
The set of heating elements in an electric stove is called a "heating element battery" and varies from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 12 elements. If there is a problem with one of the heating elements, it is generally recommended to replace it as a whole, as changing just one element would cause imbalances in the power loads and, within a short time, a new replacement would be required. Replacement is necessary after four to five years.
Boiler and steam generator
These two elements characterise Turkish baths and enable the production of steam.
Some generators are equipped with mechanical filters to clean the water and, due to limescale, require frequent maintenance.
ECU
This is the "brain" of the electric heater inside the sauna. Its main purpose is to communicate with the thermostat inside the sauna and to start or stop the work of the heating elements until the set temperature is reached.
Its malfunction can affect the proper functioning of the entire sauna.
